Harry Kane: Tottenham Hotspur striker is enjoying the chance to play first-team football on loan at Millwall
Millwall's loan star Harry Kane is determined to keep improving following a string of impressive performances since his move in January.
The 18-year-old is one of the hottest young strikers outside the Premier League with his winner in Tuesday night's 1-0 victory at Portsmouth his fifth goal in his last 10 games.
The England Under 19 international is highly rated at parent club Tottenham having made his breakthrough into the first team at White Hart Lane earlier this season during their Europa League campaign.
However, Kane believes that the chance to play regular first-team football in the Championship has helped him take his game to the next level.
Sharp
"I didn't know what to expect when I came here, but it is a great club with great fans and everyone at the club has been very supportive since I came down," Kane told Sky Sports.
"There is a good side here and I firmly believe that we can push on and finish the season strongly.
"I feel good, sharp and fit, which is what I wanted to prove when I joined Millwall because when I first came here I wasn't as sharp as I'd have liked to be.
"The chance to play regular football has given me that platform and now I feel that I can score every time I get onto the pitch.
"It is obviously the next step up from League One, where I played for Leyton Orient last season, and it is a lot more physical in the Championship.
"I've had to adapt my game and make sure that I can win a lot more balls in the air, which I feel that I have done.
"It is a great learning curve to take bac k to Spurs and I feel that my game has developed a lot since coming to Millwall."
