Delmon Young and the Tigers play the Yankees this weekend.
Detroit Tigers outfielder Delmon Young was busted early Friday for assaulting a man in front of the Hilton Hotel on Sixth Ave., police sources said.
A drunken Young was collared shortly after he shoved the man to the ground about 2:40 a.m., the sources said.
Young was taken to Roosevelt Hospital for detox before he was booked on assault charges at the Midtown North Precinct stationhouse.
He was waiting to be arraigned on Friday.
The Yankees play Detroit at 7 p.m. Friday at the Stadium.
