Neil Lennon: Celtic manager is now ready for the cup tie with Hearts after celebrating SPL title success

Neil Lennon believes wrapping up the SPL title has given his Celtic players a 'huge lift' and has enjoyed a 'fabulous' week.

The Celtic boss won his first title as a manager last weekend after a 6-0 victory over Kilmarnock clinched the club's first championship in four years.

With the title now safely tucked away, focus turns to trying to make it a double, with the Bhoys meeting Hearts in the Scottish Cup semi-final on Sunday.

Lennon is pleased with the form of his players going into the Hampden Park encounter and is confident his team will be ready for the game.

" It has been fabulous," said the former Celtic captain.

"We gave the boys a couple of days off and then we were back into training on Wednesday.

"They were in great form and great spirits as you can imagine and psychologically, winning the title will give them a huge lift.

"We have a big game on Sunday obviously, we are back preparing for that as best we can."
