Jets running back Shonn Green (l.) says the only noticeable difference is that the uniforms offer a tighter fit.
Out goes Reebok, in comes Nike, and you, dear NFL fan, may not even see the difference.
On Tuesday at Steiner Studios in Brooklyn, Nike unveiled its new NFL uniforms, which will be worn by all 32 teams in 2012. With commissioner Roger Goodell on hand, Nike trotted out a player from each NFL squad, each wearing a "new" Nike-designed uniform.

Good luck telling the old and new threads apart, though. Nike takes over uniform and gear design from previous NFL partner Reebok (Nike paid a reported $ 1.1 billion for the apparel rights), and it makes few changes to the old formulas. For the most part, the entire event, filled with pomp and circumstance, served to show people the same uniforms they have already come to know and love.
There were ever-so-subtle differences, though. Giants wideout Victor Cruz and Jets tailback Shonn Greene both said the new threads felt tighter, and Nike claims it will keep defenders from tugging and pulling at offensive players.

And then there were the Seattle Seahawks jerseys. While nearly every NFL teams uniform looked just as it did a year ago Giants equipment manager Joe Skiba said that Big Blue's traditional look is "iconic" Seattle seemed to get a University of Oregon-style redesign, with neon colors, wings along their pant stripes and embroidery within the numbers.
It was no wonder every Nike video in the presentation featured the lowly Seahawks jerseys: No other team saw a drastic change to its look.
