Sky to offer full James Bond movie collection on-demand

Broadcasting giant Sky has announced it has joined forces with MGM Studios to offer all 22 official James Bond films on-demand to Sky Movies HD subscribers.

Marking the first time that the full Bond collection will be broadcast in the UK uninterrupted and in HD, Sky will begin showing the iconic movie collection this October to coincide with the franchises 50th anniversary and its first introduction to Blu-ray.

Subscribers to Sky services will also be able to watch the full Bond offering at a time that suits them through the companys extensive on-demand viewing options.

We are simply delighted to have secured the Bond films for our customers said Ian Lewis, Director of Sky Movies. Everything about these films is iconic w hether its the cars, the gadgets or the catchphrases.

He added: Whats more, theyve become hugely significant culturally; demonstrating the best of British film. Its an honour for us to have all of them for our customers, and we will ensure that we do them justice across Sky Movies, giving our customers the best possible experience in watching them.

Further bolstering the companys 007 themed plans, Sky has confirmed that following the October 26th cinema release of the latest Bond offering, Skyfall, it will begin showing the action packed film from Sky Movies Box Office during spring 2013.
