Rihanna enjoyed a night out partying with friend Melissa Forde Thursday night.

Despite rumors of a Chris Brown reunion, Rihanna went out on a date with a woman Thursday night.

"I'm on my first date in almost 2 yearz," the We Found Love singer tweeted, adding that her lover for the night was longtime friend Melissa Forde.

The Barbadian beauty and Forde were photographed smiling and holding hands after having dinner at Giorgio Baldi in Malibu, and before making their way over to Hollywood's famed Roxbury nightclub.

Unlike her skimpy clothes worn during the Coachella Music Festival last weekend, Rihanna looked stunning in a full-length white dress, accented by a red garter belt that peeked through her thigh-high slit. Forde was also dressed up for the occasion, showing off her long legs in a t ight black mini-skirt.

The singer posted several photos from her wild night out, including one of herself and Forde with big smiles planted on their faces. Another picture shows a table at the club covered with bottles of alcohol.

According to Radar Online, the gal pals have matching tattoos that read "never a failure, always a lesson and have been romantically linked in the past.

Photos that Forde posted online earlier in the night may not help squash the speculation either.

Though Rihanna is usually the one tweeting scantily-clad photos of herself, Forde was the photographer behind a series of risqu images of the singer that have since been deleted from her account.

In the pictures, Rihanna appears to be getting ready before her date night out, wearing nothing but a white bathrobe that barely covers her breasts. She looks unaware of her photo being taken as she remains occupied with her iPhone.

Regardless, RiRi recently claimed to be on the market amid rumors of a reconciliation with Brown and speculation that she was dating Ashton Kutcher.

I am happy and Im single, she told reporters during a press conference for her upcoming film, Battleship.
