Nedum Onuoha: Looking to help former club Manchester City

Queens Park Rangers ace Nedum Onuoha is desperate to help his former club Manchester City on Sunday.

Onuoha is still a huge City fan having come through the youth ranks at the Etihad, before leaving in January to join QPR.

The defender now travels to Old Trafford on Sunday with his new club, hoping to upset title favourites United, which would bolster Rangers' survival hopes and also help City.

"As a City fan, it's always nice to beat United," said Onuoha in The Sun.

"Every time I play United I try my best to beat them as I quite enjoy it.

"I've been lucky enough to experience it two or three times in my career and I wouldn't mind doing it again.

"When I first came to QPR I was thinking too much about the City situation.

"But as time has progressed, the situation at QPR has become the only important thing to me and keeping QPR up means more to me than whoever wins the title.

"Saying that, if we stay up, I would like Manchester City to win the league."
