Jeremy Lin inspires the kids at Stuyvesant High School to make a video inviting him to their graduation. While the man who sparked 'Linsanity' can't make it, he promi ses a response on his Facebook page.
It started with a viral request from Stuyvesant High School students directed at the most popular Knick this side of Patrick Ewing or Willis Reed: Would Jeremy Lin come speak at their 2012 graduation?
Lin couldn't commit to a personal appearance, but did send a video that can be seen on his Facebook page Thursday.
Some of the quotes from the second-year player and name behind "Linsanity" include:
"I think the most important thing for me looking back, isn't that I got to the NBA, I enjoyed the path to the NBA."
"When I am done with my life, I don't want to look back and have regrets, and wish that I had tried harder here or more disciplined here."
"Enjoy the moment, live and cherish those four years. Because I am already out of college, those were the best four years of my life and they flew by. So I want to make sure .. you remember college is a blessing and you need to enjoy it."
