Katy Perry almost showed too much upon her arrival at 2012 ASCAP Pop Music Awards in Hollywood.

Katy Perry suffered from a near-wardrobe malfunction while at the ASCAP Pop Music Awards in Hollywood Wednesday night.
The "Part of Me" singer donned an elegant, embroidered Temperley London gown that actually covered up most of the singer's enviable figure -- except for a wayward strap.
Her wardrobe choice was a far cry from her regular lineup of skin-tight, extremely short dresses.
Perry, 27, proved to be more of a wild child the previous weekend, showing off her newly dyed purple locks at the Coachella music festival in Indio, Calif.
At the fete, Perry crowd-surfed and exchanged hugs with pal Rihanna as the "We Found Love" singer danced around stage in a crop top and studded cutoff shorts.
"Enjoying music so much this wknd!" Perry tweeted Saturday.
Recent media reports have stated that the pop singer is currently pining for ex-husband Russell Brand.
"Katy's been trying to get him back!" a friend of Perry told Us Weekly. "She's a lost soul right now."
Perhaps Perry's wardrobe choice was more deliberate than might initially meet the eye then?
