Ferry leaves LIU-Brooklyn for Duquesne

Jim Ferry is heading to a program that finished 16-15 last season.

Jim Ferry, who led LIU-Brooklyn to back-to-back NCAA Tourament appearances, is headed to Duquesne.

The school announced on its Web site Tuesday that Ferry, 44, reached an agreement with Duquesne on Tuesday afternoon.

According to sources, Ferry, who went 150-149 in 10 seasons, was offered the Manhattan job last offseason, but decided to stay at LIU.

In the Dukes, Ferry takes over a program that went 16-15 last season.
