Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist graces the cover of Sports Illustrated's NHL playoff preview.
The Rangers now have two first-round opponents in the playoffs the Ottawa Senators and the Sports Illustrated curse.
The Blueshirts Henrik Lundqvist is on SIs regional cover for the April 16 issue, the first time a Ranger has graced the front page since Wayne Gretzkys retirement for the April 26, 1999 issue .
Its a great magazine, Lundqvist said Tuesday. Im happy that they picked me.
. . . On the East Coast I will be on the cover, and on the West Coast I think itll be Bubba (2012 Masters champion Bubba Watson). So we got the East Coast.
