BOBBY BROWN copped a plea in his drunken-driving case Wednesday and wont have to serve more jail time.

The My Prerogative singer and ex-hubby of the late Whitney Houston pleaded no contest to driving with a blood-alcohol level greater than 0.08 and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for time served.

Brown also was ordered to take a 90-day alcohol education program and given three years probation and a fine.
