Bill O'Reilly, host of FOX's âThe O'Reilly Factorâ sounded a sour note about âGleeâ
Fox News Bill OReilly wasnt exactly singing the praises about this weeks episode of Glee.
The conservative pundit blasted the musical sitcom, aired on sister network Fox, for its inclusion of a transgendered teenager, played by Alex Newell.
Here's the problem wi th a show like this, though, OReilly said in the segment of his Thursday night show, The OReilly Factor, flagged by the advocacy group Media Matters. If you make the behavior of these people ... if children hear it, unsupervised children, okay who don't have parents watching their -- they might go out and experiment with this stuff.
Do you really think that this is the kind of thing that's contagious?, responded guest Judge Jeanine Pirro.
I dont know, said OReilly.
What he did know, he added, is that watching James Dean smoking as a kid, made him want to light up.
This from the TV personality who had recently surprised viewers by coming to the defense of transgender beauty contestant Jenna Talackovas right to compete oin the Miss Universe Canada pageant.

OReillys other guest, Fox & Friends Gretchen Carlson also chimed in: I'm not saying this is suddenly going to turn somebody gay, but I totally agree with Bill that this causes kids to experiment.
And if we didn't -- why do we have any rules in society then if we don't try and set some parameters for our children to live their lives? I just think that this is way over the top.
Carlson had said earlier that in todays society, kids learn from celebrities who experiment with homosexuality on the side, and it may be drug-fueled.
The messages sent last night by Carlson and O'Reilly are extremely dangerous and completely divorced from reality, GLAAD spokesperson Aaron McQuade said in a statement. The two clearly do not have the best interests of individual children at heart.
