In Plain Sight ends its five-year run on USA Friday (10 p.m.), meaning fans may find out whether Mary Shannon (Mary McCormack) and Marshall Mann (Frederick Weller) will be more than just professional colleagues.
Marys life is way too tangled to think one last episode will straighten it all out, but viewers will get some clues about whether shes making progress.
LINE STAYS OPEN: WBLS (107.5 FM) will pick up the popular Open Line show from the late Kiss-FM, WBLS program director Skip Dillard said Thursday.
Open Line, hosted by Bob Slade, James Mtume and Bob Pickett, is one of the few black public affairs programs on radio. It will stay in its 10 a.m.-noon time slot Sundays, following The Rev. Al Sharpton, 9-10 a.m.
WBLS also will bring in Fred Buggs from WRKS for the 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday shift and Felix Hernandezs Rhythm Revue Sunday, noon-3 p.m.
DOTS ALL: Starz has signed director Michael Bay (Transformers, Bad Boys) for the pirate adventure series Black Sails, to launch with eight episodes in 2014. ... Christine Vitale will pay tribute to the late pioneer rhythm and blues singer Bobby Thomas, who died Thursday, on Sunday, 7-10 p.m., over WFDU (89.1 FM).
