Now, video game players exploring the world of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim can battle foes while charging on a horse.
Publisher Bethesda Softworks has unveiled a fresh round of updates to its popular role-playing game, highlighted by the addition of mounted combat.
It's one of several key upgrades since the game launched last November. Skyrim has also included new features such as dynamic camera angles for finishing attacks and support for the Xbox 360's Kinect sensor.
Bethesda is expected to reveal initial details of the first Skyrim expansion, called Dawnguard, during June's Electronic Entertainment Expo.
